About the Role

As an Area Business Manager for our 'EasyBuy' division, you will be the backbone of our direct distribution operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and performance of our Energy Officers, ensuring that our solar home systems reach the people who need them most. Your leadership will drive our sales and collection targets, ensuring that Sun King continues to provide reliable energy to thousands of households.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and retain a team of at least 40 Energy Officers. Mentor them to reach their full potential while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
Strategic Sales & Collections: Manage the sales cycle from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate collections while meeting aggressive growth targets.
Field Excellence: Conduct regular field visits, provide hands-on coaching, and ensure our sales processes are optimized for maximum efficiency.
Customer Satisfaction: Uphold the Sun King brand by ensuring world-class customer service, resolving issues promptly, and fostering strong community relationships.
Market Growth: Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities to expand our retail presence and impact in Delta State.

Who We Are Looking For

You are an ideal candidate if you possess the following qualifications and traits:

A degree in a Business-related field (or equivalent).
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Sales.
Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
A proactive mindset with a focus on operational excellence and creative problem-solving.
Local knowledge of the territory, which will be a significant advantage.
