FamilyWell Health stands at the forefront of innovation, an AI-enabled mental health startup passionately committed to resolving the significant women's mental health crisis. We achieve this by seamlessly integrating high-quality, equitable, and affordable mental health care directly into OB/Gyn practices. Our comprehensive virtual mental health services are specifically designed for integration into both OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practices, utilizing a proven psychiatric collaborative care model.
Our virtual care team offers evidence-based coaching, therapy, expert care coordination, and specialized psychiatric services. We bring particular expertise in perinatal mental health and the unique challenges of perimenopause and menopause. This role is a part-time, 1099 contractor position, requiring 10-30 hours per week, with compensation set at $70 for each 60-minute session, inclusive of intake and follow-up appointments. This is a fully remote role within Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based individual therapy to pregnant, postpartum, and menopausal individuals within Texas.
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a virtual care team, engaging with coaches, other therapists, care coordinators, and psychiatric professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with all ethical and legal standards.
- Actively participate in clinical supervision and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and professional ethical guidelines for teletherapy services.
Requirements
- Hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice independently as a mental health professional in Texas (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LP).
- Demonstrate significant clinical experience working with individuals experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) or perimenopausal/menopausal mental health concerns.
- Possess strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Be proficient in providing teletherapy services, including familiarity with secure telehealth platforms and best practices.
- Show excellent verbal and written communication abilities, suitable for both client interaction and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
- Commit to a part-time schedule, ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week, as a 1099 contractor.
- Have a dedicated, private, and secure home office setup suitable for virtual client sessions.
