Key Responsibilities

You will take charge of building out critical financial processes that save time and eliminate manual errors. Your daily work will touch every corner of the financial close cycle. Expect to configure end to end close processes complete with task lists, dependencies, approvals, and automated handoffs. You will also set up automated account reconciliation rules alongside robust exception handling mechanisms. Managing journal entry automation from initial data prep and validation straight through to ERP posting falls squarely in your hands. Connecting SAP S/4HANA or ECC and other vital source systems via standard connectors, files, and APIs will keep everything running smoothly. Whether tackling intercompany transactions or accruals, your technical touch will bring order to complex financial operations.

Requirements

Success in this role calls for deep hands on experience with Redwood Finance Automation and its application across finance functions. You need a strong grasp of the record-to-report cycle encompassing the period end close, account reconciliations, and journal processing. Fluency in English is essential for daily collaboration and technical alignment. You should also bring proven expertise in building integrations with SAP S/4HANA or ECC alongside surrounding enterprise systems using standard connectors and APIs. Because this is a remote setup tailored for Italy based consultants, strong self management and independent problem solving skills are a must.
