Role Overview
As an Argon Welder at Viju Industries, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and fabricating vital machinery and stainless steel piping essential for high-standard beverage production. You will be responsible for ensuring that all structural and equipment welds meet exact industrial standards for durability, precision, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision Argon (TIG) welding primarily on stainless steel pipes, tanks, and beverage processing equipment.
- Carry out standard electric arc welding for structural frameworks, supports, and general facility maintenance.
- Interpret technical drawings, engineering blueprints, and specifications to execute precise welds.
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects, ensuring all joints meet stringent quality and safety parameters.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to support equipment installation and minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and safety gear in optimal working condition.
- Adhere strictly to factory safety regulations, industrial standards, and health guidelines.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven professional experience in specialized Argon (TIG) stainless steel welding and standard electric welding.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, equipment operation, and industrial hygiene standards suitable for the food and beverage industry.
- Precision & Skill: Ability to deliver clean, leak-proof, and aesthetically sound welds with high attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving & Reliability: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical/welding issues and deliver durable results under minimal supervision.
