Role Overview
The position of Maintenance Expert (Mechanical) is vital to ensuring uninterrupted operational efficiency within the company's production facility. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the continuous maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical equipment used in the beverage production process. Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe, stable, and smooth operation of the production line while minimizing equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently carry out routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnostic checks across all production machinery.
- Perform quick and effective troubleshooting, repairs, and component/parts replacement to resolve mechanical faults.
- Monitor the mechanical integrity and efficiency of production line machinery to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Develop and implement operational maintenance strategies to optimize machine longevity and efficiency.
- Document maintenance logs, equipment performance reports, and spare parts inventory needs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in accordance with industrial safety protocols.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of direct, hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, preferably within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or beverage manufacturing industry.
- Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of mechanical structures, operational machinery, and relevant industrial standards.
- Practical Skills: Proven ability to independently inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical components.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and fault-finding skills combined with a practical, hands-on approach to technical challenges.
- Safety Mindset: In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety regulations within a manufacturing plant environment.
