Overview

As a Web Applications Programmer II with the Golden 1 Talent Acquisition Team, you'll join our IT – Digital Platform Delivery department, contributing significantly to our digital landscape. This fully remote, worldwide opportunity involves designing, programming, and implementing innovative solutions for our external website, internal Intranet, and critical integrations with third-party systems. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining our web technical architecture, ensuring optimal functionality and a superior user experience. Your work will directly influence our digital presence, driving engagement and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, program, and implement robust web applications for external-facing websites and internal Intranet platforms.
Develop and integrate user interfaces, web services, and database applications that connect seamlessly with host systems and third-party platforms.
Analyze, design, and deliver technical solutions for both existing and new Internet/Intranet systems.
Establish and maintain the organization's Internet and Intranet technical architecture and core functions.
Recommend and implement best practices for production, technical design, and programming specific to Internet/Intranet environments.
Actively participate in the maintenance and modification of web efforts, including content, graphical elements, and communication features.
Utilize your expertise in Sitecore development to enhance and optimize our digital platforms.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Web Applications Programmer, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web application development.
Significant experience with Sitecore development is absolutely required for this position.
Proficiency in programming user interface, web service, and database applications.
Demonstrable experience integrating third-party systems with web applications.
Strong understanding of Internet and Intranet technical architecture principles and functions.
Ability to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality technical deliverables.
Familiarity with best practices in web application development, including performance optimization and security.
