Key Responsibilities

Your work will shape how brands interact with Reddit communities worldwide. Here is what your day to day work will involve.

Lead the research, drafting, and rollout of comprehensive advertising policies across global markets
Partner closely with teams in Legal, Product, Sales, Trust and Safety, and Operations to build balanced solutions
Evaluate emerging ad formats, sensitive monetization topics, and cultural nuances to ensure our standards stay ahead of the curve
Advise internal stakeholders on tough enforcement calls and edge cases with clear rationale
Translate complex regulatory demands and safety objectives into actionable rules for commercial partners

Requirements

To succeed in this space, you should bring strong critical thinking along with proven industry experience.

Substantial background developing advertising policies, trust and safety frameworks, or regulatory standards for online platforms
Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and craft clear guidance around sensitive, high visibility issues
Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for influencing executive leaders and cross functional partners without direct authority
Deep appreciation for the mechanics of online discourse and the unique dynamics of community driven platforms
Comfort working autonomously in a distributed environment across various time zones
