BCD Travel invites you to join our dynamic, fully remote team as a Travel Consultant, leveraging your proficiency in GDS Sabre. While we are actively building our team in regions like Spain and Poland, this role is open to talented individuals worldwide who share our commitment to exceptional service. You will stand as the primary point of contact for our valued clients, providing expert advice and comprehensive travel solutions. Key Responsibilities

Your day to day will involve a range of critical tasks to ensure our clients' travel plans are perfect. These include:

Searching for and confirming travel reservations with precision.
Applying a strong understanding of each client's unique travel policy, offering insightful consultations consistently.
Managing all requests related to essential regulations, encompassing DOT, TSA, passports, and visas.
Supplying clients with vital industry information, such as low-fare options, exchange costs, and penalty details.
Actively seeking opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships, suggesting improvements that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Maintaining and continually expanding your current knowledge of the various travel industries we support, sharing insights actively within the team.

Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a proven track record. To excel in this role, you will need:

Demonstrable proficiency in GDS Sabre; this is a non-negotiable skill for our team.
Significant previous experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Agent in a corporate setting.
Exceptional customer service abilities and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The capacity to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment.
In-depth knowledge of international travel regulations, including passport and visa requirements.
Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Spanish or Polish would be a significant advantage.
