As a Threat Detection Analyst focusing on the APAC region and fluent in Japanese, you will be a vital part of our Customer Security Operations Center team. Key Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our customers' digital assets and upholding the integrity of the internet. Your day to day will involve:

Leveraging Fastly’s advanced security product suite to proactively identify and neutralize emerging threats.
Providing vital operational support for Fastly's security products and services, ensuring our customers experience seamless protection.
Contributing real world security insights that enhance our platform and provide deeper visibility into global threat landscapes.
Collaborating within our central security team to develop and refine cloud security solutions that address internet scale challenges.
Engaging with our customers and internal teams, particularly those in the APAC region, utilizing your Japanese language skills to provide expert security guidance and support.
Analyzing security data, detecting anomalies, and responding effectively to incidents to mitigate risks.

Requirements

To thrive as a Threat Detection Analyst at Fastly, you should bring:

Proven experience in threat detection, security operations, or a similar role focused on internet scale security.
Fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken, is essential for engaging effectively with our APAC customers and partners.
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience with security products and services.
