Job Title: Test Automation Engineer (SDET)
Location: 100% Remote (Worldwide)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000 $150,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years in a relevant role

Key Responsibilities

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in elevating our software quality. Your day to day will involve a variety of engaging tasks:

Design, build, and continuously refine advanced test automation frameworks.
Write clean, production quality test code to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications.
Collaborate closely with development teams, embedding quality engineering practices throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for new features and functionalities.
Implement automated tests across various layers, including UI, API, and database.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis for identified defects and work towards permanent solutions.
Advocate for best practices in quality assurance and automation across the engineering organization.
Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and methodologies, integrating them where beneficial.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate professional with:

A minimum of 6 years of hands on experience in test automation, quality engineering, or an SDET role.
Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Deep understanding and practical experience with testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks from the ground up.
Familiarity with various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
Experience working within Agile development environments.
Excellent problem solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with cross functional teams.
