In this crucial freelance position, you will play a vital part in transforming complex technical content from French into clear, precise, and culturally relevant English, contributing directly to the global success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately convey the original meaning of source texts into the target English language.
Execute various linguistic tasks diligently, adhering strictly to project instructions and available resources such as translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.
Maintain the highest standards of grammatical accuracy, consistently applying key terminology, identifying any inconsistencies, and ensuring all cultural references are appropriate.
Meticulously review and correct formatting, tagging, punctuation, country-specific nuances, terminology, style, and overall fluency according to established guidelines.

Requirements

A degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or demonstrable equivalent experience in the field.
Native fluency in the English language is essential.
