The Role
As a Technical Sales Coordinator, you will operate at the intersection of product supply, on-site commissioning, and maintenance services. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, prospecting new business, and ensuring that clients receive high-quality safety solutions—specifically in the realm of fixed gas and flame detection—that meet stringent regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base to drive retention and satisfaction.
- Business Development: Actively prospect and generate new leads to expand the company’s market footprint.
- Technical Proposals: Develop accurate, competitive technical and commercial offers with a rapid turnaround.
- Field Expertise: Conduct site surveys, perform first-level maintenance, and provide expert troubleshooting for gas and flame detection systems.
- Knowledge Sharing: Deliver on-site training to end-users to ensure optimal system operation and safety compliance.
- Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and procurement to manage logistics and secure project success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, project coordination, or field service.
- In-depth expertise with fixed gas and flame detection systems (UV/IR, electrochemical, catalytic, IR).
- Strong proficiency in fire & gas system architecture and 4–20 mA loop wiring.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and CAD review.
- Flexibility to travel as required to support international and domestic operations.
