Overview
Bjak is rapidly building a Neobank Superapp for Southeast Asia. As our Technical Product Manager, you will take complete ownership of a product vertical, guiding its development from conception to deployment and continuous improvement. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user needs, all within a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on financial technology. This is a fully remote opportunity, open to talented individuals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for your specific vertical, aligning with Bjak's overall vision and strategic goals.
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories for engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user value.
- Monitor product performance using key metrics, iterating and optimizing for continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for your product vertical, explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Ensure products comply with relevant regulatory standards within the financial services industry.
- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within your product team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Product Manager, ideally within a FinTech, Neobank, or Superapp environment.
- A strong technical background, including an understanding of software development life cycles, APIs, and modern web/mobile technologies.
- Proven ability to own and drive a product from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of articulating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- A passion for financial technology and a deep understanding of user needs in this space.
