About The Role

We are orchestrating the best high-performing team, and this role is pivotal! As a Technical Lead for our Core Payments team, you will be at the heart of our payment infrastructure, driving the technical vision and execution for critical components. You will guide a group of talented engineers responsible for connecting Yuno's platform to various Payment Service Providers, acquirers, and payment gateways across the globe. This role requires a leader with deep technical expertise who can mentor team members, define architectural best practices, and ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure payment solutions. You will own a vital piece of our infrastructure in a fast-moving, global environment, all while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong technical leadership and direction for the Core Payments team, ensuring alignment with Yuno's overall product strategy.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure payment integration solutions.
Mentor and coach engineers, fostering their technical growth and promoting best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver features on time and with high quality.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to architectural standards and technical guidelines.
Drive technical discussions, evaluate new technologies, and contribute to the evolution of our payment platform architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to payment processing and integrations.

Requirements

More than 5 years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on payment systems, fintech, or highly transactional platforms.
Proven experience in a technical leadership role, guiding engineering teams and owning technical project delivery.
Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, including PSPs, acquirers, payment gateways, and fraud prevention mechanisms.
Strong proficiency in modern programming languages and distributed system architectures.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
A strong commitment to code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
