About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Growth Content Specialist to create educational content that helps enterprise buyers and technical practitioners discover, evaluate, and adopt Tailscale. This role sits at the intersection of technical writing, content marketing, developer education, and product storytelling. Working closely with our AI & Organic Search Manager, you will transform customer questions, product launches, search insights, and emerging industry trends into technically accurate content that performs across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews), along with various social channels. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity, welcoming talent from across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce technically accurate, engaging educational content tailored for both enterprise buyers and technical practitioners.
Translate complex product features, customer challenges, and industry trends into clear, concise, and compelling narratives and practical guides.
Optimize content for diverse discovery platforms, ensuring high performance on traditional search engines, AI-powered systems, and social media.
Collaborate closely with the AI & Organic Search Manager to leverage data insights and drive content strategy.
Continuously research emerging technologies and user questions to identify new content opportunities and maintain relevance.
Uphold Tailscale's brand voice and technical accuracy across all content deliverables.

Requirements

Proven experience creating technical content, developer education, or content marketing for a B2B SaaS or technology company.
Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging language for varied audiences.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and an understanding of how content performs on modern search and AI discovery platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a portfolio showcasing relevant work is highly recommended.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, fully distributed environment.
A genuine curiosity about networking, security, and developer tools.
