The Role

In this position, you will act as the primary technical anchor for assigned customers and field service activities within the Distributed Products portfolio. This is a pivotal role that blends high-level technical analysis with direct field support. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing maintenance strategies, and serving as the key liaison between customer needs and internal engineering specialists.

Key Responsibilities

Tier 1 Technical Support: Serve as the lead point of contact for Service Engineers and Field Service Representatives.
Strategic Outage Planning: Develop comprehensive outage plans and provide hands-on guidance during commissioning and maintenance events.
Performance Analysis: Monitor equipment health by analyzing diagnostic data, oil analysis reports, and performance metrics to proactively recommend corrective actions.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Competence Centers to drive continuous improvement and fleet reliability.
Technical Oversight: Review field service reports for quality and ensure adherence to technical bulletins and engineering standards.

Who You Are

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering.
Proven experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support within an industrial setting.
Deep technical understanding of rotating equipment, specifically gas turbines.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex diagnostic data.
