As our Tech Lead, you will become the technical cornerstone of your feature team, driving execution and innovation from the ground up. Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Coding & Execution: You will spend a significant amount of your time writing high-quality backend code, directly tackling the most complex technical challenges. This means leading by doing, setting a clear technical standard for your team.
Technical Stack Mastery: Guide the technical direction and implementation within your team. You will leverage Scala and Python for robust backend data systems and TypeScript for seamless frontend integrations, ensuring our systems are scalable, reliable, and performant.
Architectural Leadership: Design and evolve robust backend systems and microservices, contributing significantly to the overall technical architecture.
Team Guidance: Mentor and empower your team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Product Ownership: Deeply understand the product, its business goals, and the user experience. Proactively identify opportunities and take initiative to ship exceptional features.

Requirements

Proven experience as a highly technical, hands-on engineer with significant expertise in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Scala, Python, and TypeScript, particularly in building and maintaining SaaS backend architectures.
Demonstrated ability to architect, design, and implement robust and scalable backend systems.
Experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams through active technical contribution, rather than purely administrative oversight.
A deep understanding of product development, user experience principles, and core business objectives.
An eagerness to proactively solve problems, identify technical solutions, and drive features to completion.
