Overview

GEC is undertaking a comprehensive modernization of its QIS IT platform across two major pillars. You will tackle the Live Platform focusing on real time custom index calculation and publication using an Angular web interface and microservices architecture powered by quantitative engines. You will also shape the Backtesting Platform which handles historical simulations of quantitative strategies using high frequency tick, TWAP, and VWAP data hosted on a fully cloud infrastructure. Operating in an agile setup with three week sprints, you will work hand in hand with Front Office, Structuring, Quant, and Infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the technical and functional roadmap of the platform redesign by collaborating closely with Product Owners, Quants, and Front Office stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the development team by running agile ceremonies, prioritizing the backlog, and tracking day to day progress.
Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and architectural tradeoffs to keep delivery on track.
Deliver regular status reports and updates to senior management.

Requirements

You bring strong expertise in C# development, pricing services, and financial engineering domains. Experience leading technical teams within agile environments is essential. You should feel comfortable communicating with quantitative researchers and front office professionals, translating complex financial models into robust software architecture. A solid background in cloud infrastructure and high performance data processing will set you apart.
