Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound phone calls to newly enrolled members to review their current and approved services, durable medical equipment, and any additional needs.
- Review intake documents related to pre-approved services and quickly escalate any discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
- Complete welcome onboarding and consumer directed personal assistant assessments while identifying potential risk factors for clinical escalation.
- Initiate, update, finalize, and discontinue authorizations in Trucare for pre-approved services and equipment.
- Handle incoming and outgoing member calls accurately, documenting every interaction with care and precision.
- Assist care managers with scheduling, mailings, faxing clinical requests, and coordinating with community-based organizations.
Requirements
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Mandarin and Cantonese.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate and professional telephone manner.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using healthcare software systems like Trucare and navigating digital documentation tools.
