Overview

As a Supply Chain Associate focused on Inventory & Purchasing, you'll be a cornerstone of our global operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products across our extensive network. Your work will directly support our mission of getting essential healthcare supplies where they need to go, whether that's in manufacturing or distribution environments. This role encompasses everything from meticulous inventory management and planning to fostering strong, tactical supplier relationships. You will play a crucial role in managing purchase orders, executing them precisely, and expediting when necessary, all while ensuring optimal quantity, timing, and cost effectiveness. You'll even assist with cost negotiation and help evaluate supplier performance, continuously working to improve our entire supply chain process and uphold the terms and conditions of our supplier contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day will involve a variety of critical tasks, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently:

Managing incoming purchase order confirmations and meticulously documenting them within our systems.
Proactively reaching out to suppliers who have not yet provided confirmation for their purchase orders.
Addressing past-due purchase order lines, updating estimated arrival times, and providing crucial tracking information.
Assisting with backorder follow-up, investigating root causes, and collaborating to develop 'get well' plans.
Collaborating closely with our planning team to resolve discrepancies, particularly those concerning pricing.

Requirements
