This Strategy & Operations Lead position is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity. You'll join us at a crucial growth phase, working hand-in-hand with our core teams on high-impact initiatives spanning engineering, product, hiring, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape Strategic Direction: Work directly with leadership to define, refine, and execute critical company-wide strategies, ensuring alignment with our overarching mission and growth objectives.
- Optimize Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and streamline workflows across various departments, including product, engineering, and support teams.
- Drive High-Impact Projects: Lead and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation through successful execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a vital link between engineering, product, hiring, and operations teams, facilitating seamless communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Develop Data-Driven Insights: Analyze performance metrics and market trends to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and uncover new growth avenues.
- Support Talent Acquisition & Development: Contribute to our ambitious hiring goals by optimizing processes and supporting initiatives that attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Build Scalable Solutions: Design and implement solutions that not only address immediate needs but also scale effectively as BJAK continues its rapid global expansion.
Requirements
- A proven track record of 5+ years in a strategy, operations, or management consulting role, ideally within a fast-paced technology or fintech environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable plans.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving initiatives to successful completion.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with diverse teams and leadership across different time zones.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, remote-first global work environment, taking ownership and demonstrating proactive initiative.
- Deep understanding of business operations, including familiarity with product development lifecycles, engineering processes, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
