Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary Subject Matter Expert for AI and machine learning within the DevSecOps domain, guiding both internal teams and external customers.
Collaborate closely with enterprise clients to deeply understand their challenges and strategic goals, translating these into robust, AI-enhanced architectural solutions on the GitLab platform.
Design and present compelling solution architectures that leverage GitLab's capabilities, explicitly integrating AI/ML workflows to drive significant business value and innovation.
Provide expert technical guidance and thought leadership on AI adoption strategies, best practices, and implementation methodologies for complex enterprise environments.
Lead technical discussions, workshops, and presentations for diverse audiences, including C-level executives, architects, and engineering teams.
Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, sales, and customer success teams to advocate for customer needs and influence the future direction of AI-powered features in GitLab.
Develop and deliver technical content, such as whitepapers, reference architectures, and workshops, showcasing the power of AI within the GitLab platform.
Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with key stakeholders and fostering a deep understanding of customer roadmaps.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or a similar role, with a strong focus on large-scale enterprise solutions.
Deep expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science principles, including practical experience with AI/ML model development, deployment, and integration into software development lifecycles.
Extensive experience with the DevSecOps methodology and associated tools, understanding the end-to-end software delivery process.
Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated success in consultative roles, engaging with senior technical and business leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, along with their AI/ML services.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of designing innovative solutions to challenging technical problems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fully remote, and collaborative global environment.
