Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer for Curated Data, your leadership and technical expertise will be pivotal. You will focus on:

Designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and performant data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform raw blockchain data into structured, curated datasets.
Ensuring the highest standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all curated data products, critical for our institutional clients.
Driving the technical strategy and architectural evolution of our data curation platform, leveraging your experience with distributed systems and large scale data processing.
Collaborating closely with product managers, data analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver robust solutions that meet market demands.
Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and contributing to overall team growth and best practices.
Optimizing existing data infrastructure for efficiency, cost effectiveness, and improved developer experience.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual who embodies technical mastery and a collaborative spirit. To thrive in this role, you should possess:

Significant professional experience, typically 7+ years, in software engineering, with a strong focus on data intensive applications or data platform development.
Deep expertise in designing and implementing robust ETL or ELT processes for large scale datasets.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, or Rust, along with strong SQL skills.
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed data processing technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka).
A solid understanding of blockchain technology and onchain data structures is highly advantageous.
Proven ability to lead complex technical projects, make sound architectural decisions, and drive them to successful completion.
Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.
A proactive, problem solving mindset and a commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving space.
