Most governance, risk, and compliance roles pull you into endless spreadsheets and bureaucratic check-the-box exercises. This is not one of those jobs. At Tines, we build intelligent workflow automation that powers critical security operations for companies like Canva, Reddit, and Coinbase. Security sits right at our core, and we are looking for a Staff GRC Analyst who knows how to translate deep technical engineering reality into bulletproof compliance outcomes. Best of all, this is a fully remote opportunity open to exceptional candidates worldwide.
Overview
As our Staff GRC Analyst, you will act as the crucial link connecting our technical engineering groups with external auditors. You understand both the nuanced language of software architecture and the rigorous demands of global regulatory standards. Instead of slowing teams down, your mission is to embed automated, sound compliance patterns directly into the way we ship product. You will work across Security, Engineering, and Product to scale our trust program alongside rapid platform growth.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of vital compliance and risk initiatives across our entire global footprint.
- Lead our external audit programs, serving as the main interface between technical subject matter experts and independent auditors.
- Partner directly with software engineers, cloud infrastructure specialists, and product managers to translate complex security frameworks into practical everyday workflows.
- Design and maintain continuous monitoring mechanisms that automate evidence collection across our tech stack.
- Evaluate risk across new vendor integrations, core platform features, and internal corporate systems.
- Keep our existing certifications in top shape while charting out the path toward upcoming compliance requirements.
- Provide clear, actionable risk guidance to leadership and external stakeholders without resorting to unnecessary bureaucracy.
Requirements
We are searching for someone with deep technical curiosity and proven experience driving audit readiness in modern software environments.
- Extensive background in governance, risk, and compliance within high growth SaaS or modern cloud environments.
- Demonstrated ability to hold technical conversations with engineering teams about topics like identity management, API security, and infrastructure as code.
- Hands on leadership managing SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar security framework assessments from start to finish.
- Strong familiarity with cloud service providers like AWS or GCP and modern CI/CD software delivery pipelines.
- Superb communication skills, especially when it comes to explaining complex security requirements in simple, pragmatic terms.
- Self directed mindset and comfort navigating ambiguous, fast paced remote work settings.
What You Will Gain
Joining Tines at this stage gives you a front row seat to the future of workflow automation.
- The flexibility to work from anywhere in the world on a truly remote first team.
- Direct impact on our core product trust and security reputation among top tier global brands.
- A culture that genuinely values simplicity, speed, and soundness over unnecessary process.
- Collaborative teammates who care about your career trajectory and personal growth.
- Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and home office support to help you do your best work.
