Overview

As a Staff Data Engineer focused on Market Data within our Institutional Markets team, you will own the entire lifecycle of our real-time data pipelines. You are stepping in to architect the ticker plant and distribution backbone of a unified trading platform. This role asks you to lead by example, mentor brilliant peers, and shape the technical roadmap for how millions of transactions are processed and normalized every single second.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and scale low-latency real-time market data ingestion and distribution systems.
Own the core ticker plant infrastructure powering our institutional trading products.
Collaborate closely with quantitative, trading, and infrastructure engineering teams to optimize throughput and minimize latency.
Lead a lean, high-impact team of engineers by setting technical direction and fostering best practices.
Ensure uncompromising system reliability, data accuracy, and fault tolerance across global regions.

Requirements

Extensive background in data engineering, distributed systems, or low-latency backend development within finance or tech.
