Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sr. TLE Auto Appraiser to join our team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, supporting USAA's global membership. Within defined guidelines and a supportive framework, you will take ownership of investigating, negotiating, evaluating, and appraising vehicle damage claims. Your keen eye and fair judgment will be crucial for both repairable and total loss vehicles, ensuring estimate accuracy and strict compliance with all state laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough investigations into vehicle damage claims, gathering all necessary information to determine the extent of loss.
Negotiate settlements fairly and effectively with members and external parties, always aiming for a resolution that upholds our commitment to service.
Perform detailed evaluations and appraisals of vehicle damage for both repairable and total loss scenarios.
Ensure all appraisals and estimates are accurate, complete, and in full compliance with relevant state laws and industry regulations.
Manage a demanding caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements and member expectations.
Deliver exceptional member experiences through clear, consistent, and proactive communication, offering advice and demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of vehicle repair techniques, market values, and total loss valuation methodologies.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to streamline the claims process and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Auto Appraiser, with significant focus on total loss evaluations.
Demonstrated expertise in vehicle damage assessment, repair costs, and total loss valuation methods.
Proficiency in relevant state laws and insurance regulations pertaining to vehicle damage claims and appraisals.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with diverse individuals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
The ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively and maintaining high productivity.
