As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend systems. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and meticulously maintain scalable backend systems utilizing PHP (version 8.x) and modern frameworks, specifically Laravel or Symfony.
Architect robust, secure, and high-performing software solutions, ensuring they align perfectly with stringent fintech standards.
Build and maintain resilient REST APIs, paying close attention to proper versioning and ensuring backward compatibility.
Optimize database performance, primarily with MySQL/MariaDB, which includes expert query tuning to maximize efficiency.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions.
Mentor junior developers, providing valuable guidance and conducting thorough code reviews to maintain high quality.
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and stability.
Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

Extensive professional experience as a PHP Developer, with a significant portion dedicated to senior-level roles.
Demonstrated expertise in PHP 8.x and at least one major modern framework, either Laravel or Symfony.
Strong proficiency in designing and building REST APIs.
Deep understanding of database systems, particularly MySQL/MariaDB, including optimization techniques and complex query writing.
