We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join us. This role is perfect for someone who brings strong operational acumen and a keen interest in leveraging AI and innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience and organizational effectiveness. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates located anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to designated business leaders, translating business needs into effective HR strategies and solutions.
Lead and support key talent initiatives including performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organizational design to foster a high-performing culture.
Drive operational excellence within HR processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains, particularly through the application of AI-powered tools.
Coach and develop managers and leaders, enhancing their capabilities in team leadership, employee relations, and change management.
Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, diagnose organizational effectiveness issues, and recommend data-backed interventions.
Facilitate effective communication and change management strategies to support organizational growth and transformation.
Champion Thumbtack’s inclusive culture, ensuring fairness, equity, and belonging are integrated into all HR practices and employee experiences.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to employee relations, compliance, and workplace culture.

Requirements

Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in an HR Business Partner capacity within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic partner, influencing and advising senior leaders on critical people and organizational issues.
Proven track record of driving operational improvements and efficiency in HR processes.
A genuine interest in and understanding of how AI and technology can enhance HR functions and the employee experience.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of using data to inform decisions and drive outcomes.
Experience managing complex employee relations, organizational change, and talent development initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
