You'll lead the charge in developing and executing strategic marketing programs, cultivating vital relationships with surgeon champions, and significantly boosting the launch and adoption of our da Vinci indications within General Surgery. Furthermore, you will provide crucial leadership and mentorship to a dedicated team of Clinical Marketers, guiding their development and ensuring impactful execution across defined subspecialties.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the definitive subject matter expert for General Surgery, offering deep insights and strategic guidance.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of European market dynamics within key growth areas, identifying clear adoption drivers and barriers, always prioritizing opportunity and value.
Gather and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to effectively segment and gain profound understanding of existing and emerging markets. This includes delving into the surgeon's perspective, their practice models, the intricate patient journey, and each step of the clinical procedure.
Collaborate closely with the VP, Europe Marketing and MACA to conceptualize, refine, and implement impactful European marketing strategies.
Craft compelling value messaging that covers clinical, economic, operational, and strategic aspects, ensuring tactics consistently demonstrate a strong return on investment in targeted General Surgery indications.
Provide clear direction and support to team members regarding strategy execution, overseeing the implementation of detailed market activities.
Foster and develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders and surgeon champions to drive advocacy and adoption.
Lead, mentor, and inspire your team of Clinical Marketers, promoting their professional growth and ensuring high performance.

Requirements

Significant experience in strategic marketing, ideally within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on surgical specialties.
Proven track record as a subject matter expert in General Surgery, demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics, clinical procedures, and patient pathways.
Prior experience managing and mentoring a team, with a knack for fostering individual development and team success.
Exceptional analytical skills, capable of translating complex market data into actionable strategies and demonstrating clear ROI.
A strategic mindset with the ability to design and execute multi-faceted marketing programs across diverse European markets.
