Overview

The Digital Business Profile team plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing TransUnion's business identity and listings solutions. Our mission is to deliver precise and reliable business information across digital landscapes. This platform, originating from Neustar's Tru-Contact and Communication Solutions portfolio, underpins business data products that empower our customers to make truly informed decisions. You will be joining a dynamic group that partners closely with Product, QA, Operations, and Engineering functions across Costa Rica and the U.S. West Coast. We are driven by a shared goal to deliver innovative, scalable solutions that have a real-world impact. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while providing opportunities for collaboration with a global team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions for TransUnion's Digital Business Profile products and business data platforms.
Collaborate closely with Product teams to understand, refine, and negotiate functional requirements. You will translate complex business needs into elegant, scalable technical solutions.
Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring our solutions are robust, performant, and maintainable.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and best practices within the team.
Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring high quality, secure, and efficient code across the codebase.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our production systems.

Requirements

Demonstrated extensive experience as a FullStack Engineer, ideally 5+ years, working on complex, distributed systems.
Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies. This includes modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, alongside strong back-end expertise in Java, Node.js, or similar languages.
Solid understanding of database technologies, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design and implement highly scalable, performant, and secure applications.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality software in an agile environment.
