Overview

As our new Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in building a rock-solid account reconciliation process from the ground up. You will report directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and collaborate with brilliant peers across the globe. Your insights will directly impact our financial reporting accuracy and pave the way for a stress-free year-end audit. We want someone who brings deep technical knowledge, sharp analytical instincts, and the self-motivation to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

Handle high-volume and high-value account reconciliations including accrued sales tax, bank clearing accounts, accrued inventory purchases, and prepaids.
Reconcile daily cash flow reporting and monthly bank statements while actively filing and following up on chargebacks and uncashed checks.
Import credit card transactions and execute thorough month-end reconciliations.
Design, document, and roll out upgraded reconciliation policies to boost overall efficiency and accuracy.
Guarantee that every reconciliation strictly adheres to internal controls and external audit standards while providing clear documentation when requested.
Prepare and post month-end journal entries such as accruals and prepayments.

Requirements
