Overview

You will join a fast moving team focused on refining French speech datasets. Your daily work ensures that our artificial intelligence models ingest only the cleanest and most natural sounding voice data possible. We pay up to fifty dollars per hour for this contract position, and you can work from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

You will edit and process French voice recordings designed specifically for text to speech applications. Your workflow includes essential audio cleanup tasks like silence trimming, breath reduction, de clicking, de essing, and noise removal. You will also run thorough quality assurance checks to catch any clipping, distortion, or uneven loudness. Beyond technical cleanup, you will evaluate recordings to guarantee naturalness, fluency, and perfect French pronunciation. Working closely with our machine learning teams, you will help optimize data pipelines for upcoming model training milestones.

Requirements

You must be a native or near native French speaker with an exceptional ear for linguistic nuances. Prior hands-on experience editing speech and voice recordings is required. You should also feel comfortable working with strict technical specifications for machine learning pipelines and maintaining high standards of quality control.
