Overview

As a Specialist II, Cloud Platform & Operations at NextGen Healthcare, you'll step into a critical role often referred to as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & AIOps Engineer. You will play a pivotal part in designing, building, and meticulously maintaining our dynamic cloud infrastructure. Our team relies on you to leverage AI-driven operational tools, transforming how we automate, optimize, and scale our systems. We're searching for someone with deep expertise across cloud services, infrastructure-as-code, identity management, and the exciting advancements in AIOps technologies. Your contributions will directly enhance the reliability and efficiency of our platform, supporting vital healthcare solutions worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Design, construct, and uphold scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and GCP, consistently applying vendor-agnostic approaches and industry best practices.
Develop and diligently maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
Implement and manage robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, safeguarding our cloud resources and data integrity.
Integrate and fine-tune AIOps tools and platforms to proactively monitor, analyze, and automate operational tasks, enhancing system performance and incident response.
Drive automation initiatives for cloud provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows, reducing manual effort and boosting efficiency.
Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs through continuous analysis, recommending and implementing improvements.
Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our cloud environments, adhering to compliance standards and internal policies.
Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.

Requirements

Extensive proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing complex cloud infrastructure environments, specifically with AWS and/or GCP.
Demonstrated proficiency with Infrastructure as Code principles and significant hands-on experience using Terraform.
Solid understanding and practical experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices and implementation within cloud platforms.
Familiarity with AIOps concepts and tools, including experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management platforms.
Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a global, remote team setting.
