Space Tech Robotics Engineer (100% remote) (m/f/d)
Are you a visionary engineer with a passion for robotics and the boundless frontier of space? EWOR is looking for an extraordinary builder and operator to join our new department. We’re launching groundbreaking initiatives that will define the future of Space Tech. This isn't just another job; it’s an opportunity to architect, build, and lead from scratch, driving innovation with complete autonomy. Picture yourself at the forefront of a global, fully remote team, making a tangible impact on projects that matter. If you thrive on challenges, enjoy working without corporate red tape, and want to shape something truly significant, then you might be the person we're searching for.
Overview
EWOR is powered by an impressive lineage of serial entrepreneurs, including Paul Müller (founder of Adjust, €1.2B exit) and Petter Made (founder of SumUp, €8B). These are individuals who have successfully built high-impact, category-defining ventures from their very beginnings. Our new department is embarking on cutting-edge initiatives, particularly within the Space Tech domain, and we seek exceptional talent to bring these ambitious visions to life. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity, allowing you to contribute from wherever you are.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead 0-to-1 Initiatives: You will spearhead and execute core projects from their foundational stages, especially within innovative sectors like Space Tech.
- Strategic Translation & Execution: Translate ambitious, high-level strategic visions into clear, actionable execution roadmaps, then drive their rapid implementation.
- Architect & Build: Take full ownership of system architecture and development, transforming ideas into tangible, working solutions.
- Drive Innovation: Continuously identify new opportunities and challenges in the Space Tech landscape, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with robotics.
- Collaborate with an Elite Team: Work closely with a world-class group of engineers, researchers, and commercial leaders, reporting directly to the department founder.
Requirements
While we value diverse backgrounds, success in this role typically involves:
- Proven experience as an exceptional operator and builder, with a strong track record in leading and delivering complex projects from inception (0-to-1).
- Deep expertise in robotics engineering, ideally with direct experience or a profound interest in Space Tech applications.
- Ability to translate broad strategic concepts into concrete, implementable plans with a focus on rapid execution and market validation.
- A high degree of autonomy and self-direction, comfortable making critical decisions and driving strategy without extensive oversight.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to system architecture and development.
- A collaborative spirit, ready to engage with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You'll Gain
- Maximum Ownership: You'll enjoy complete autonomy to architect systems, drive strategic direction, and build innovative solutions from the ground up, free from corporate bureaucracy.
- High-Growth Environment: Immerse yourself in a culture that prioritizes strong market validation and scalable traction. Good ideas and swift execution are paramount here, not endless presentations or approval layers.
- Elite Team Collaboration: Work directly with the department founder and a world-class team comprising top engineers, researchers, and commercial leaders.
- Competitive Compensation & Upside: Receive an attractive compensation package, including significant equity upside, reflecting your critical contribution to our success.
