Solutions Engineer - Critical Infrastructure

Solutions Engineer - Critical Infrastructure

Echodyne is turning conventional radar technology on its head. If you enjoy digging into complex technical systems while helping customers solve real-world security challenges, this role is built for you. We need an energetic Solutions Engineer focused on Critical Infrastructure who can bridge the gap between breakthrough hardware, cutting-edge software, and client missions. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity where you can make an immediate impact from anywhere on the globe.

Overview

At Echodyne, we build compact, solid-state beam-steering radar platforms that perform flawlessly across harsh weather and complex environments. From guarding power grids and national borders to supporting autonomous drones and smart cities, our patented metamaterials technology brings high-tier perception down to commercial scale. In this role, you will serve as the technical heartbeat of our critical infrastructure team, guiding customers from initial curiosity all the way to full deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work centers on merging technical expertise with client relationship management. Key areas of focus include

  • Partnering closely with the sales team to lead pre-sales technical evaluations and post-sales integration efforts for critical infrastructure projects
  • Conducting live product demonstrations at partner facilities, industry conferences, and customer test sites
  • Translating complicated radar telemetry and RF concepts into clear, actionable advice for both technical teams and executive stakeholders
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software integrations on the fly while working with our core engineering groups to address customer edge cases
  • Gathering valuable field insights and client feedback to help guide future product updates and software features

Requirements

We look for curious problem solvers who thrive when collaborating with customers just as much as when digging into system diagnostics. Ideal background and skills include

  • Hands-on background in solutions engineering, field applications, or technical pre-sales within high-tech sectors
  • Familiarity with radar platforms, RF systems, sensor integration, or modern networking protocols
  • Willingness to travel periodically for high-value on-site customer trials, demonstrations, and partner events
  • Clear, personable communication skills with an ability to tailor technical explanations to any audience
  • Demonstrated capability to manage tasks autonomously across global time zones

What You Will Gain

You will play an integral part in deploying advanced radar that actively protects critical facilities and communities worldwide. Benefits of the role include

  • The flexibility of working remotely from anywhere in the world
  • Hands-on exposure to breakthrough metamaterial architectures and innovative software algorithms
  • A collaborative culture that values initiative, practical problem-solving, and direct ownership
  • Competitive compensation and continuous avenues for professional growth within a fast-moving company
