Wingtra, a dynamic robotics scale-up with deep roots at ETH Zurich, Europe’s premier robotics university, is building the best aerial robots to digitize our world. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming innovative ideas into robust, production-ready solutions. Your main focus will be to:

Take AI-built prototypes from our Go-To-Market (GTM) team and expertly productionize them. This includes establishing secure authentication and access scoping, implementing comprehensive error handling, ensuring data integrity, developing thorough tests, setting up continuous monitoring, writing clear documentation, and facilitating smooth handovers.

Requirements

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Engineer eager to tackle complex challenges. While specific technologies might evolve, a solid foundation in the following areas will be essential:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer, ideally with 3+ years in a professional setting, focusing on bringing prototypes or experimental features to production.
Strong proficiency in a modern backend programming language, such as Python, Go, or similar, with experience in web frameworks and API development.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
A solid understanding of database design, data integrity principles, and efficient data handling.
Demonstrable experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and robust error handling strategies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a distributed team.
A collaborative spirit and strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
