Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Information System Security Officer for the ClaimsCore Program while ensuring full compliance with FISMA Moderate, FedRAMP Moderate, and CMS ARS 5.1 standards.
Prepare, maintain, and update all Certification and Accreditation along with Security Assessment and Authorization documentation such as System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, Contingency Plans, and Plan of Action and Milestones.
Conduct thorough security assessments and coordinate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate security seamlessly throughout the software development lifecycle.
Maintain the operational readiness and resilience of modernized systems supporting mission-critical health programs.

Requirements

Mid-level experience working as a DevSecOps Engineer, Information System Security Officer, or in a closely related cybersecurity and software development role.
Solid understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks including FISMA, FedRAMP, and CMS security requirements.
Proven ability to author and manage comprehensive security and compliance documentation.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical teams across remote environments.
