As the Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing these experiences and driving brand engagement across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Creation: Develop, produce, and publish high-quality, engaging content (stunning visuals, interactive stories, short-form videos/Reels, and written copy) that captures the essence of luxury travel.
- Brand Advocacy: Establish a consistent, compelling brand voice that highlights Marilla Travels' premium services and destinations.
- Community Management: Engage actively with followers, respond to inquiries, and build a vibrant online community of travel enthusiasts.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm updates, and emerging travel topics to keep the brand's digital presence fresh and relevant.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of active experience in social media management and content creation with a demonstrable portfolio.
- Education: Minimum qualification of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Mass Communication, Creative Arts, or a related field.
- Technical Savviness: Proficient with modern content creation tools, graphic design software (such as Canva), and mobile video editing applications.
- Location: Must currently reside on Lagos Island or within close proximity to Lekki to facilitate a smooth daily commute for this on-site role.
