About the Role
As our Social Media Content Creator, you will be the creative force behind our digital presence. You will conceptualize, script, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content that reflects the sophistication and luxury standards of the ONYX brand. Working closely with the marketing team, you will ensure our products—sourced from China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, India, Burma, and Argentina—are showcased in the most compelling light across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop creative content ideas, maintain monthly content calendars, and research emerging social media trends to strengthen brand positioning.
- Content Creation & Production: Produce high-quality video and photo content, including product showcases, customer transformations, behind-the-scenes footage, and educational lifestyle pieces.
- Video Editing & Post-Production: Utilize advanced editing skills to craft both short-form and long-form videos featuring professional transitions, motion graphics, and sound design.
- Script Writing & Storytelling: Craft compelling hooks, captions, and scripts that educate, inspire, and drive conversions.
- Social Media Support & Brand Representation: Collaborate with the marketing team, monitor performance insights, and maintain exceptional visual standards aligned with a luxury aesthetic.
- HND/B.Sc. in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Creative Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in content creation, videography, or social media content production.
- Prior experience within beauty, luxury, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands is highly preferred.
- A robust portfolio showcasing exceptional video shooting and editing work.
- Proficiency in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Canva Pro (Photoshop is a plus).
What Success Looks Like in 90 Days
During your first three months, success will be measured by your ability to consistently produce luxury-standard content, drive increased audience engagement across platforms, and demonstrate strong creative direction that enhances ONYX's digital visibility.
