Now, we are looking for a dynamic Social Media & Content Associate to join our growing team and lead our creative engine.

About the Role

This is a unique, dual-focused role designed for a multi-talented creator. As the Social Media & Content Associate, you will be the driving force behind our daily online presence. You will act as both a strategic content creator and a visual designer, ensuring that SureGifts remains highly engaging, visually consistent, and culturally relevant across all digital touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will span across three core pillars:

1. Social Media Management & Brand Design

  • Develop, curate, and manage a monthly social media content calendar across key platforms, including Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create original, high-quality, and tailored copy, graphics, and short-form video assets for each platform's unique audience.
  • Design on-brand static and animated visual assets for campaigns, email newsletters, partner promotions, and in-app placements.
  • Maintain and update a library of reusable, professional Canva templates for internal teams and partners.
  • Ensure all output strictly adheres to SureGifts’ brand guidelines, including typography, color palette, and brand voice.
  • Nurture and grow our digital community through active engagement, timely responses, and participating in relevant trending conversations.

2. Video Production & Short-Form Content

  • Produce, shoot, and edit highly engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using tools like CapCut.
  • Repurpose long-form content, such as webinars, live events, and customer testimonials, into highly shareable, bite-sized clips.
  • Brainstorm and execute creative concepts that visually explain product benefits and highlight real customer success stories.

3. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Track and analyze key social media performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, click-through rates, and follower growth) on a monthly basis.
  • Translate data-driven insights into actionable optimization plans for content formats and posting schedules.
  • Stay ahead of the curve regarding social media algorithm updates, emerging tools, and digital marketing best practices.

What Success Looks Like

We believe in setting clear expectations. In your first 90 days, you will have successfully:

  • Assumed full ownership of the SureGifts content calendar with flawless execution and zero missed posts.
  • Refreshed and modernized our visual templates in Canva to align perfectly with our updated brand guidelines.
  • Conceived, designed, and executed at least two comprehensive marketing campaigns from initial brief to final delivery.
  • Created a clear, intuitive performance dashboard that clearly communicates campaign ROI and social growth to our Head of Marketing.

Job Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, or digital graphic design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Canva; you should be capable of building highly professional, agency-grade templates from scratch.
  • Solid experience in producing and editing short-form video content (using CapCut or similar editing software).
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with a keen ear for brand tone and cultural nuances.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Incredible attention to detail, specifically regarding layout, spacing, typography, and color harmony.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with professional design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using generative AI tools (like ChatGPT for copywriting or Midjourney for visual ideation).
  • Prior industry experience working within fintech, e-commerce, FMCG, or fast-growing consumer brands.
  • Basic photography skills or comfort presenting on-camera.
  • Understanding or experience in setting up and managing paid social media campaigns.
