About the Role
As the Site Maintenance Controller, you will be at the heart of our brewery operations. Your primary mandate is to supervise and control site services, ensuring that our facilities remain safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant. You will act as the guardian of our buildings and grounds, managing everything from housekeeping and risk control to vital infrastructure maintenance and liaison with local authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Leadership: Uphold rigorous safety, health, and environmental standards to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.
- Facility Integrity: Oversee the inspection, repair, and optimization of brewery buildings and civil engineering assets.
- Planning & Execution: Manage maintenance schedules, plan building shut-downs, and oversee the allocation of tasks to artisans and contractors.
- Budgeting: Take ownership of budget allocations to ensure cost-effective facility operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply VPO (Voyage to Process Excellence) principles to drive efficiency and operational standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: National Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a production, brewing, or bottling environment.
- Specialized Expertise: Formal training in Risk Control and management, with comprehensive experience at a Risk Control Officer level.
- Competencies: Strong civil and mechanical knowledge, proficiency in accounting principles (specifically stock control), and proven experience in managing teams.
