Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks designed to enhance our digital presence and accessibility. Your contributions will include:

Developing and executing comprehensive SEO and AEO strategies to maximize organic search visibility and audio platform discoverability for BetterHelp.
Conducting in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify new growth opportunities.
Optimizing website content, meta descriptions, and technical SEO elements to improve search engine rankings and user experience.
Analyzing performance data using various SEO tools to track key metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Collaborating closely with content, product, and engineering teams to implement SEO best practices across all digital initiatives.
Staying abreast of the latest SEO and AEO algorithm updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Crafting compelling voice search and audio content strategies to capture growing AEO traffic.
Reporting on SEO/AEO performance to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in digital marketing and a genuine passion for our mission. Ideal qualifications include:

Proven experience, typically 3+ years, in a dedicated SEO or AEO focused role, preferably within a fast-paced tech or health company.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices for both traditional web search and audio search platforms.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage successful organic search strategies.
Excellent analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex data to drive strategic decisions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning in a dynamic digital landscape.
Familiarity with the mental health space or a passion for improving access to care is a plus.
