As our new Senior Technical Product Manager for the Ads ML Platform, you will sit right at the intersection of heavy-duty machine learning and high-scale advertising infrastructure. This is a fully remote role that you can do from anywhere in the world. If you love solving complex infrastructure puzzles and want to empower machine learning engineers to move at lightning speed, you will fit right in.

Overview

The Ads Marketplace is a massive growth engine for Reddit. Our goal is simple yet ambitious. We want to democratize high performance advertising so any brand can achieve world class results with zero friction. To get there, we need a machine learning platform that is extraordinarily robust, highly scalable, and completely state of the art. You will own the infrastructure and internal tooling that power all of our content understanding, ad targeting, and ranking models.

Key Responsibilities

Define the long term vision and roadmap for the Ads ML Platform, aligning closely with engineering leadership and business goals.
Build and champion the internal developer experience for machine learning engineers and data scientists, helping them build smarter and iterate faster.
Partner with cross-functional teams spanning data science, infrastructure, and product to deliver high throughput and low latency ML systems.
Manage the entire lifecycle of complex platform features from initial discovery to rollout and continuous optimization.
Translate ambiguous technical challenges into clear, actionable requirements that engineering teams can execute with confidence.

Requirements

Several years of product management experience building large scale machine learning platforms, data infrastructure, or developer tools.
A strong technical foundation with the ability to dive deep into distributed systems, ML pipelines, and model training infrastructure.
Proven track record of partnering successfully with world class engineering teams to ship complex technical products.
Exceptional communication skills with a talent for storytelling and simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
A genuine passion for the Reddit ecosystem and a deep appreciation for authentic online communities.
