Overview

We are searching for a Senior System Engineer to join our Virtual Private Cloud team. This position is fully remote and open to candidates worldwide. Our VPC team builds and operates the core networking layer of our cloud platform. We enable virtual machines to communicate reliably by abstracting them from the underlying physical network. You will provide seamless IP based connectivity even as heavy workloads move across the datacenter. If you love designing secure and isolated private networks for customers while connecting them to the public internet, this is your place.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale the core networking layers of our next generation virtual private cloud platform.
Ensure virtual machines communicate reliably with robust abstraction from physical infrastructure.
Manage IP based connectivity seamlessly as customer workloads shift dynamically across datacenters.
Build secure and isolated private networks for a diverse global customer base.
Optimize public internet connectivity and internal traffic routing for maximum performance.

Requirements

Extensive professional experience in system engineering, networking, or cloud infrastructure roles.
Deep practical knowledge of virtual private cloud architectures, software defined networking, and IP routing.
Strong background in distributed systems and large scale cloud environments.
Proficiency in modern programming languages used for automation and infrastructure tooling.
A collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex engineering challenges remotely.
