Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, reliable, and performant data infrastructure solutions.
Drive critical architectural decisions and contribute to the long term technical strategy of our combined platform.
Collaborate cross functionally with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Ensure the integrity, security, and quality of data as it moves through our systems.
Lead by example in best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
Anticipate future technical challenges and proactively work to address them.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a Senior Staff or Principal Software Engineer, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
Deep expertise in designing and building distributed systems, especially within cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data infrastructure (e.g., Java, Scala, Go, Python).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and real time data streaming technologies.
Experience with modern data orchestration tools and practices.
Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction and mentor engineers across multiple teams.
Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous technical challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
