Key Responsibilities

Lead high-impact data science initiatives focused on consumer relevance, recommendation systems, and personalization.
Partner closely with product, engineering, and design teams to translate complex data into engaging user experiences.
Design, run, and analyze rigorous experiments to optimize discovery features across our web and mobile platforms.
Build advanced machine learning models and data pipelines that process massive datasets at scale.
Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements

Extensive professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a closely related technical field.
Deep expertise in building recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or personalization engines for consumer-facing products.
Proficiency in Python or R, alongside strong SQL skills and experience with big data processing frameworks.
Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from conception to production launch.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain intricate statistical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
