Senior Software Engineer (Fundraising) - Remote
Imagine building technology that directly enables life-changing cash transfers for millions of people worldwide. That's the powerful opportunity awaiting a skilled Senior Software Engineer at GiveDirectly. You will join a mission-driven team at a pivotal moment, helping us dramatically expand our ability to raise funds and deliver aid. If you're passionate about leveraging your engineering expertise to make a profound, tangible impact on global poverty, and thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment, this role is perfectly tailored for you.
Overview
GiveDirectly is revolutionizing the fight against poverty by delivering cash directly to those who need it most. Since 2011, we have transferred over $1 billion to more than 2 million people across 15 countries, demonstrating conclusively that direct cash aid leads to healthier families, stronger businesses, and more resilient communities. Our vision extends beyond our own programs. We aim for cash to become the global benchmark for aid, challenging every aid dollar to prove it does more good than simply giving the money directly to people in poverty.
We are in a period of unprecedented growth, projecting to reach $1 billion in revenue by 2026. This expansion demands a robust, scalable technology infrastructure. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Fundraising, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing the systems that power our fundraising efforts, ensuring we can sustain and accelerate our impact. This is a fully remote, worldwide opportunity, allowing you to contribute to our mission from anywhere.
