Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, and secure services for the CCIP protocol, focusing on cross chain transaction coordination.
Lead the development lifecycle for critical protocol components, from concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Collaborate closely with other engineering teams, product managers, and researchers to define technical specifications and requirements.
Ensure the highest standards of code quality, performance, and security through rigorous testing, code reviews, and best practices.
Identify and address complex technical challenges related to distributed systems, blockchain interoperability, and fault tolerance.
Contribute to the strategic direction and evolution of the CCIP protocol and the broader Chainlink ecosystem.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Requirements

At least 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a significant focus on backend or distributed systems.
Strong proficiency in one or more core programming languages like Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
Demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining highly available, fault tolerant systems.
Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, decentralized networks, and cryptography.
Prior experience with cross chain communication protocols or blockchain interoperability solutions is a significant plus.
Familiarity with smart contract development and EVM compatible chains is advantageous.
Excellent problem solving abilities and a meticulous approach to complex technical challenges.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic, and fully remote environment.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
