We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build, scale, and refine the foundational platform powering our entire visual thinking experience. This is a fully remote role open to talented engineers worldwide, giving you the freedom to do your best work from wherever you feel most inspired.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and scale the core systems driving real-time collaboration, shared document editing, and spatial interactions.
- Optimize the infinite canvas and key editor components to ensure lightning-fast performance across devices.
- Build developer-friendly internal APIs that empower other product teams to ship features like AI capabilities, diagramming, and presentations with ease.
- Maintain the real-time messaging protocols that keep remote teams seamlessly connected.
- Champion platform quality, simplicity, and engineering best practices across the entire engineering organization.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience building complex, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of real-time collaboration technologies, canvas rendering, or complex state management.
- A strong passion for developer experience, writing clean code, and building robust internal platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across distributed, remote engineering teams.
