We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) who loves working across the stack and wants to help us scale past two million daily active users. You will join a fully distributed team where collaboration matters just as much as clean code. Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable systems utilizing a service-oriented and event-driven architecture.
Work primarily with Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL to power our sports and communication platform.
Participate actively in regular pair programming sessions and virtual team swarms.
Write maintainable, high-performance code that serves some of the largest youth sports organizations globally.
Contribute to architectural discussions and help guide the technical growth of our backend services.

Requirements

Strong professional experience building robust backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of SQL databases and relational data modeling.
Proven background in designing scalable systems with service-oriented or event-driven architectures.
A collaborative mindset that thrives in a fully remote environment.
Passion for writing quality code and helping teammates succeed.
